GUI Design Studio is available for download as a free 30-day trial.
The Viewer may be freely distributed to others that need to see your designs.
System Requirements
- Microsoft Windows Vista/XP/NT/2000
- At least 15 MB hard disk space
- At least 512 MB memory. 1 GB recommended

NOTE: The product installation includes the Viewer plus the User Manual and Tutorial as Help files. The PDF versions are provided here in case you want to print them out for reference.
Important Notes:
Every attempt has been made to ensure that this release is free of defects and maintains compatibility with existing data files but you should backup your current design projects before installing this release, just in case.
The GUI Design Studio install includes the Viewer for convenience when checking distributions. The Viewer install is also provided separately in case you need to distribute designs created with this release to other people.

Here is a brief summary of changes (see this blog post for further details):
- New: Calendar element with very flexible styling and content options.
- New: "Window|Close All" and "Window|Close Others" menu commands.
- New: Preference option to Disable SVN support (for users of Subversion clients other than version 1.6).
- New: Preference option to Disable File Open/Save dialog enhancements.
- Changed: Redirect Thumbnail Components to different design files through the property editor.
- Changed: Annotation tooltip text spacing improved.
- Changed: Project menu item accelerators changed to make them exclusive.
- Fixed: Tooltips corrected for new shortcuts changed in version 3.5.
- Fixed: Cancelling drag and drop operations using the right mouse button no longer causes the popup context menu to appear.
- Fixed: Custom Tree Icons (added in 3.5) are now correctly saved to distribution .gdd files.
- Fixed: Custom Tree Icons (added in 3.5) are now maintained properly when the Tree is within a Component and has its properties overridden.
- Fixed: Automatic connection types have been fixed where they were incorrectly reverting to "Modal Popup".

Here is a brief summary of changes (see this blog post for further details):
- Changed: Tree elements now have an icon selector for each item, avoiding the need for overlays.
- Changed: Slider elements now have a 'reverse' option. Vertical Sliders now default to upwards unless reversed (this may have a minor impact on some designs).
- Changed: The Project panel file tree context menu has been expanded and re-arranged.
- Changed: References to "Simulation" changed to "Prototype" to better represent the purpose. The "Simulator" menu has been renamed to "Run".
- Changed: Keyboard shortcuts changed to avoid main menu conflicts:
Go to connection source: Alt+R -> Ctrl+R
Go to connection target: Alt+T -> Ctrl+T
Swap selected elements: Alt+S -> Ctrl+W
- Fixed: Redundant checking of SVN repository removed to improve performance in certain circumstances.
- Fixed: Changes to project and folder links are now saved correctly. In V3.4 this became intermittent depending on whether other changes were triggering the project save or not.
- Fixed: The Notes panel now behaves correctly when the Design Bar is floating rather than docked to the side of the main window.
- Fixed: Property editor buttons have been made taller to ensure that shortcut key indicators are visible.
